Students:
Here at Mulberry Middle School we are concerned about your academic achievement. The following school-wide rules were established in order to create a more positive environment for you to learn and function in. Therefore, at Mulberry Middle School we will enforce the following rules:
Be RESPECTFUL
Of our campus and school property
Of others (students and adults)
Of yourself
Be RESPONSBILE
For your actions
For your work
For your belongings and property
Be READY

To Learn!
There will be various rewards throughout the year. Rewards will be awarded to students who follow the rules and who generally act in an acceptable manner that makes them an honorable Mulberry Middle School student.
As your teacher, I will treat you with respect as well. I will also provide a rigorous and relevant curriculum. This means we will have a structured classroom where we work diligently to meet our goals and make connections between the classroom and the real world.

Mulberry Middle School - Script for TARDY POLICY
At Mulberry Middle School we believe that in order to succeed academically you MUST receive the maximum amount of instruction possible. In order to get all the teaching time you deserve, you have to be on time to class. It is also a primary safety concern that you are in class where supervision is provided as opposed to a lack of supervision for students who are in the halls when you are tardy to class.
Therefore we will enforce the following rules as they apply to the tardy policy:
1. Class will start on time each day.
2. Students must have an appropriate pass from a school representative or they will be considered tardy.
3. Students will be considered “on time” when their entire body is through the class doorway before the tardy bell has finished ringing- if not, they are tardy.
4. Teachers agree NOT to hold students after the bell without first notifying the receiving teacher.
Consequences for students who are tardy:
Students who come to class on time will be better prepared to learn. We are concerned for your academic success and for your safety so this tardy policy will help all of us succeed.
